Ο πιό λαμπρός, ο πιό τρανός νέος της σκηνής

στα σανίδια κάτω από τις λάμπες βρίσκεται σκοτωμένος.

Δίπλα η μάνα του κλαίγοντας του χαιδεύει τα μαλλιά

Πιο πέρα η αδελφή του ακίνητη κρατά στα χέρια το κεφάλι.

Τα φώτα σβήνουν και μες στο σκοτάδι οι τρεις κινούνται.

Πίσω οι λάμπες της σκηνής

ξεχωρίζουν αυτόν ν' αλλάζει παντελόνι

τη μάνα του να βάφει τα χείλη της

την αδελφή του να ισιώνει τα μαλλιά της.

Νέα σκηνή ετοιμάζεται μπροστά μας.
